Trip Overview
Tonga is one of the rare places on Earth where you can swim with humpback whales in their natural habitat. From July to November, these gentle giants migrate to the warm waters of the South Pacific to nurse their young and seek mates. During this magical season, we’ll have the opportunity to snorkel alongside them and witness their incredible behaviors up close.
Our expedition includes 5 full days on the water, searching for humpbacks. Each day brings something unique—mother and calf pairs, singing males, playful juveniles, or thrilling heat runs that showcase their raw energy.
We’re allowed to dive down to a maximum of 3 meters—more than enough to connect with these magnificent creatures as they spin, dance, and interact with us. Trust us, it’s pure magic.
No freediving experience? No problem! Most encounters happen right at the surface, making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience that anyone can enjoy.
